Ada banyak orang yang berpendapat bahwa untuk mencapai prestasi belajar yang tinggi diperlukan Kecerdasan Intelektual (IQ) juga tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tentang hubungan belajar siswa hasil tes pencapaian semester akhir dengan Kecerdasan (IQ) masuk Quotient awal di Sekolah Tinggi Keperawatan Pemerintah Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Desain ini merupakan studi korelasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan kohort retrospektif. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Desember-Januari 2012 di Ungaran dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 45 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil dari Intelligence Quotient (IQ) responden memiliki rata-rata 104,93 dengan nilai 90 dan maksimum minimal 130, sedangkan prestasi belajar responden memiliki rata-rata 3,39 dengan nilai minimal 3,14 dan maksimal nilai 3, 72. Jika sebagian besar responden telah mempertimbangkan Intelligence Quotient (IQ) dalam kriteria cukup (88,9%), sedangkan untuk sebagian besar prestasi belajar siswa dapat memperoleh prestasi belajar dalam kriteria yang sangat memuaskan (75,6%) pada nilai mereka akhir semester. Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara hasil tes masuk Quotient Kecerdasan (IQ) dini dengan semester akhir prestasi belajar siswa di Sekolah Tinggi Keperawatan Pemerintah Propinsi Jawa Tengah (p 0,05). Prestasi belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui upaya optimalisasi proses pembelajaran dan mutu pendidikan.

There are many people who argue that to achieve high learning achievement required Intellectual Intelligence (IQ) is also high. The purpose of this study was to determine the picture of the relationship of students learning achievement test results of the final semester with Intelligence Quotient (IQ) early entry in the College of Nursing Central Java Provincial Government. The design is a correlation study using a retrospective cohort approach. The study was conducted in December-January 2012 in Ungaran by the number of respondents as many as 45 students. The results showed that the results of the Intelligence Quotient (IQ) of respondents had an average of 104.93 with a minimum 90 and maximum value of 130, while the learning achievement of respondents had an average of 3.39 with a minimum value of 3.14 and a maximum value of 3, 72. If the majority of respondents have considered the Intelligence Quotient (IQ) in sufficient criteria (88.9%), whereas for most of the learning achievements of students are able to acquire learning achievement in a very satisfying criteria (75.6%) on the value of their final semester. There is a significant relationship between the results of tests Intelligence Quotient (IQ) early entry with the final semester of student learning achievement in the College of Nursing Central Java Provincial Government (p 0.05). Student learning achievement can be increased through the efforts of the learning process optimization and quality of education.
